Rohan George fondly known as “Jeepgeorge” among Jeep enthusiasts founded Rogeotec to transform Mahindra vehicles to Designer Masterpieces. Mahindra vehicles has a special place in his heart; a love affair that started from the early Mahindra Jeeps. Being born in a plantations family in Kerala, it was natural for Rohan as a kid to take rides in Jeeps. His parents on a lighter note says that his fanatic passion towards Jeeps is due to the fact that he had his first drive in a Mahindra Jeep within twenty four hours of his birth.
He has over fifteen years of experience in automotive field working in Jayem Automotives and had worked with many major manufactures from concept design to prototyping to production. Even while working in Jayem he was always missing his passion to customise Jeeps and SUVs. Being in an organisation the breadth of opportunities were limited. So when his close friends asked him to redesign their Jeeps he grabbed the opportunity and the modifications turned out to be masterpieces. On constant persuasion from followers and encouragement from friends, he ventured into starting his own firm for Bespoke Vehicles.
As the debate of whether an artist is born or made goes on, for Rohan since childhood sketching and designing Jeeps has always been a natural instinct. From early on, he remembers sketching Jeeps not only in classes, but even in drawing exams and competitions while the rest of the crowd stuck to drawing regular mundane stuff.
It all started with a burning desire to have a vehicle, as his family did not have one. He had a strong craving to own and modify vehicles, so to visualise his dreams he started sketching Jeeps and cars. Seeing his dreams on paper gave him immense satisfaction and sense of accomplishment.
It is this incessant sketching that nurtured him into an artist and seeded in him a career in Car styling.
